Finding the right page numbers

Type the position of the page in the file, not the number printed on it. A report's page printed as 1 may be the third page of the PDF if it has a cover and contents. Your PDF reader shows the true position, usually as something like 3 of 20. To pick pages by sight, use Organize PDF.

Removing blank pages from a scan

Scanners that read both sides of the paper often leave blank backs. Note down which pages are blank and type them here, such as 2, 4, 6. Be careful with private pages: removing them is safe, as they aren't in the new file, but your original still has them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete a page from a PDF?

Upload the PDF, type the page number and press the button. A new PDF without that page downloads.

Can I remove every page?

No. A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool asks you to keep one.

Are removed pages really gone?

Yes. They aren't hidden, as the new file doesn't contain them.

What happens to my file?

Your files are only used for this job and are deleted from the server afterwards.

Can I remove pages from a locked PDF?

No. Remove the password first with Unlock PDF, if the file is yours or you have permission.
