Trim wide margins, or cut pages down to the part that matters. Drag a box on your page and the same crop is applied to the document.

How to use the Crop PDF

  1. Upload your PDF and wait for the page to appear.
  2. Drag a box over the part you want to keep.
  3. Choose every page or the first page, then download.

What to expect

See what you keep

Drag right on a picture of your page, so there's no need to guess at measurements.

Same box for every page

The box is applied as the same share of each page. This suits documents with a regular layout.

Not a way to hide things

Cropping changes what's shown, and the trimmed content can stay inside the file. To remove private details, use Redact PDF.

Getting the box right

When cropping isn't the right tool

To hide a name, signature or number, use Redact PDF. A crop only changes what's visible, and it's not a safe way to remove private details. To make a large page fit on another page size, print the PDF to a new paper size in your PDF reader.

Frequently asked questions

How do I crop a PDF?

Upload it, drag a box over the part to keep and press the button.

Can I crop only one page?

You can crop just the first page. To crop another page alone, extract it first with Extract PDF Pages.

Does cropping remove the content?

It hides it from view, but it may stay in the file. For private details use Redact PDF, which removes them.

What happens to my file?

Your files are only used for this job and are deleted from the server afterwards.

Can I undo a crop?

Keep your original file, and crop it again whenever you need to.
